AutoPatch error: Error reading product file driver files [complete; make tapes]

Problem:
Recently on our two node  Oracle EBS(11.5.10.2) test environment on RHEL5 (32-bit) with 11gR2 database on RHEL5 (64-bit).
When attempting to Apply The Patch 10179153 to the Apps tier node, the following error occurs.

AutoPatch error:
Unable to determine valid on-site files [complete; make tapes] for Sales Online.

AutoPatch error:
The following file is missing:
/mnt/TSTapps/trcappl/asf/11.5.0/admin/driver/asffile.drv

AutoPatch error:
Error reading product file driver files [complete; make tapes]
 
AutoPatch error:
Error determining valid on-site files 

Cause:

• The cause of the issue is due to missing asffile.drv
• Try to find this file on current server.  If not found, you copy it from any other identical instance and try again.

Solution:
Found the missing file in our production environment and copied it  to test environment. Re-tried the patch and it worked.
